The Park Access, Does Not Include Bear Lake Road Timed Entry Permits allow for park visitors in private vehicles to access all areas of RMNP, except for destinatons located along Bear Lake Road. Andreas Option 2 - Park Access, Does Not Include Bear Lake Road RMNP Timed Entry Permit Reservations: Option 2 - Park Access, Excluding Destinations Along the Bear Lake Road Corridor Reservations are not required to access the Bear Lake Road Corridor before 5 a.m.to 3 p.m., Timed Entry Permit Reservations are requied to access all areas of Rocky Mountain National Park and permit holders may only enter the park within their reserved 2-hour time window. If you have booked a Park Access + Bear Lake Road Timed Entry Permit and would like to explore areas of the park located outside of the Bear Lake Road corridor (like drive to the Alpine Visitor Center or to Sheep Lakes) before (or after) your reservation window opens, you may enter Rocky Mountain National Park before 9 am (or come back after 3 p.m.).The Timed Entry Permit Holder (the person whose name is on the timed entry permit reservation) must be in the vehicle.Permit holders may exit and return as needed throughout the day. Timed Entry Permit holders must initially enter Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake Road corridor during their 2-hour reservation window. Reservations are available in 2-hour windows of time, for example from 7 a.m.Timed Entry Permit Reservations are in effect from 5 a.m.This option is best for visitors interested in visiting Bear Lake, Moraine Park, Glacier Gorge, and more. The Park Access + Bear Lake Road Corridor Timed Entry Permit provides access to all areas of RMNP, including destinations along the Bear Lake Road. Initially, 25 to 30 percent of permits will be held and available for purchase the day prior at 5 p.m. (MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of October (and any remaining days that have not been booked for September). Reservations will become available on September 1, at 10 a.m.(MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of September (and any remaining days that have not been booked for August). Reservations will become available on August 1, at 10 a.m.(MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of August (and any remaining days that have not been booked for July). Reservations will become available on July 1, at 10 a.m.(MDT) for reservations to enter the park during the month of July (and any remaining days that have not been booked for June).
